Pitcher perfect?
February 18, 2008
Sorry for that title. These are the pitchers that I had bisque fired the last time I posted. I finally got them glazed and re-fired. I thought it was a pretty successful series.
This one has very active and fiery glazes. I think it turned out pretty juicy.
I used a matte glaze on this taller one. It looks really soft and despite the snow, it has a shell-like quality.
This one is my favorite.
This bowl is from the same firing. The interior came out just lovely.
New Work
December 21, 2007
This is some work from my last firing. Hopefully I can find a way to warm up my workspace and do another one soon. It’s been too cold out there for me to get anything done lately.
I’ve not made jars in awhile. I had forgotten how fun they are to throw.
This is one of several teapots in a series. I’ll post them after the rest are fired.
These berry bowls are new. I just started making them in the summer. They have detachable feet for catching water.
A few mugs. (My best seller.)
These tiny little bowls are for sauce or spices. I sell them in sets of four.
